Help us raise valuable funds!

Like so many volunteer organisations we receive no government funding and are only able to continue our life saving work through the kind support of the public and donor organisations. We rely entirely on donations and sponsorship to fund the equipment we require for both dogs and dog handlers.

Our funding is spent on:

  • Specialist equipment such as radios, first aid kits and consumables
  • Search equipment for dogs
  • Personal equipment and clothing
  • PPE to support COVID safe working
  • Training
  • Insurance for members and dogs to train and deploy on searches
  • Team administration and search management systems

Support us

Like so many volunteer organisations we receive no government funding and are only able to continue our life saving work through the kind support of the public. All our members are volunteers and all our dogs are family pets belonging to their handlers.

We rely entirely on donations and sponsorship to fund the equipment we require for both dogs and dog handlers. Typically we need funding for specialist training and items of equipment, including protective clothing, navigation and communications equipment and first aid items.

There are lots of different ways to support us – you would be surprised! Contact us to find out more.

We are so grateful to a number of local businesses who help us raise money through gifts or by having one of our cash tins available for anyone to donate change.
